Love is the ultimate motivator. We try to occupy our free time with the things that we enjoy doing. We spend time with people we love and talk about things we have a passion for.

The church is called out, to be like Jesus in this world. Jesus lived without fear! He was totally focused on His mission.

Jesus experienced incredible and horrific suffering whilst on the cross. The people He came to save mocked Him and challenged Him.

Today we focus on one word from our main text, and that word is the word ’Blessed.’. Jesus placed this word at the beginning of nine separate statements between verses 1-12 in Matthew chapter 5.

Christ has placed His name on His church and we rejoice in this fact. It means that we are blessed, we have His protection and oversight. It means that we have His covering and the blessed assurance that our eternal
