“Life is hard” – We hear and experience this phrase with increasing regularity these days. Today’s lesson in the book of Habakkuk will give us rich insight into how we view tough times.

JANUARY 2024 HAS PASSED! COMPLETED MONTH OF PRAYER AND FASTING. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? WHAT WOULD GOD HAVE ME DO?

After a brief recap of his most recent sermons, inspired by PCF’s 2024 Spiritual objective, “Be watchful…stay alert” (Matthew 24:42), Pastor David brings a concluding thought this week.

This week, Pastor David employs the metaphor of a boxing match to encourage the congregation to view each week’s sermon, so far, as a round in a critical bout.

In this sermon, Pastor David takes the listener on a journey, looking into the prophetic words of Jesus in Matthew 24 and exploring the unexpected but purposeful destruction of the magnificent temple in Jerusalem.

In Matthew 24:36-42, Jesus discusses His second coming, emphasising the uncertainty of the exact time or date. He emphasises the importance of continual watchfulness and readiness for this greatly anticipated event.

As we reflect on 2023 and look forward to 2024, let us resolve in our minds that we will remain faithful to God, exhibit the characteristics of the Christian faith, and challenge ourselves to go above and beyond.
