Sunday 19th February – And that’s when we lost our first Love – Pastor David Daniel

Jesus was asked what the most important commandment was. His answer included the Shema found in Deuteronomy 6:4-5 and a line from Leviticus 19:18. The Shema was a fundamental declaration of faith for God’s people. It was recited every day and discussed in the family home.

In our sermon today, Pastor David encourages the church to elevate our appreciation and understanding, for this the most ‘important commandment’ as suggested by our Lord.

This includes daily recognition of it and ongoing conversations and reflection regarding its meaning. But most importantly, a wholehearted compliance to this great spiritual law. As we maintain our connection with His commandments, our love for God is strengthened and made sure.

Join us for our regular 10:30 am service.
