Daily Bible Challenge 2023

Happy New Year,

Beloved, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, as it goes well with your soul.

3 John 1:2

Some people are anxious about the uncertain times that we are facing, but should the child of God share such anxieties? The word of God is a light for us in this world of darkness (Ps. 119:105). And as we study the word, we have peace of mind.

I would therefore like to encourage you to take up this year’s challenge of regularly learning a passage of scripture by heart. I have prepared a list of popular scriptures in a booklet format. If you are interested in joining in, then contact us by email or download a copy from our web page. You may also pick up a hard copy from the church (large print copies will be available).

I will be creating a podcast to aid us in this journey of remembering scripture. The passage – especially the long one on Track 1 – will be read slowly and deliberately, emphasising specific words. I hope to invite some church members to feature in the podcasts. I am looking forward to hearing their thoughts on the scriptures.

But please, I do ask that you let me know that you will be a part of this. I cannot emphasise this enough; you can send me a short email of confirmation via connect@tpcf.org.uk. Or, you may send me a text message of confirmation on 07485 623114, and I will respond to you.
