This week we welcome back Pastor David to the pulpit for the first time after the end of his sabbatical. This week he brings a message titled, A Special Gift for a Special People.
Some governmental laws are certainly challenging to comply with; this is especially true when you can’t see sense in that law and maybe view the bureaucratic restrictions as an unnecessary exercise. But laws are given with good intentions and should be respected.
Now, what are your thoughts about God’s laws?
Do you think that they are unnecessarily restrictive?
The message today explores the exciting prospect that God’s special people are given His holy laws, especially because they – His chosen ones – are special to Him.
We should be encouraged to extricate from our opinion any negative notions or perceptions that we may unwittingly be harbouring against the beautiful Law of God, and pursue with emboldened desire and purpose, a life of obedience through faith.
For obedience to the law of God is a sure sign of our faith in salvation through Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
We look forward to seeing you at 11:30am.
