Sunday 2nd July – Keep your eyes on the Cross – Elder Martin Finegan

Jesus was very popular during his earthly ministry; many people followed him as he went from town to town. In hindsight, and from what can be observed, their motivation in following him was often, at times, shallow in depth in context to his wider mission.

Here in John chapter 6, we are presented with a glimpse of their mindset. What is interesting is Jesus’ reaction to their exaltation of him after he feeds them (v.15)

For a few moments, we are going to spend some time recalling the central reason for praising him, the central reason for honouring him and the central reason why we serve him.

Join us for our regular 10:30 am Sunday Service.
