This sermon, based on Ephesians 6:10-20, focuses on the believer’s need to be strong in the Lord by putting on the whole armour of God.
We are in a spiritual battle, not a physical one, and we stand against the spiritual forces of evil. The armour of God, which includes truth, righteousness, faith, salvation, and the word of God, equips believers to stand firm on the gospel of peace and defend our position in Christ.
The emphasis in this sermon is on the importance of standing one’s ground, not advancing or attacking, but holding fast in the face of the enemy’s schemes. Everything is covered finally with prayer for each other. Because in this battle, we are not alone, we stand shoulder to shoulder in Jesus name.
Join us for our regular Sunday service, starting at 10:30 a.m.
