Our theme this year is to be watchful, to stay alert and be vigilant. God is calling his people to wake up, move beyond the surface level and understand that we are engaged in a spiritual battle.
As such, we must be prepared and equipped for battle. We continue in Ephesians 6:10-18 and the spiritual armour we are instructed to put on. What does each piece represent? How can we use it effectively? This week, we are focusing on the shield and the sword.
God has provided all we need to be victorious, but we have a part to play. We must take our position, understanding the power each piece of armour holds and most importantly, hold to the truth that we’re standing in His strength and might.
