The initial chapters of the book of Daniel relay the story of a young man and his friend facing a new world in an environment that would ultimately demand him to compromise his commitment to God.
As he navigates this new environment with new rules and customs, he commits to some non-negotiables as it relates to his faith, worship, and recognition of Yahweh. We live in an age where everything is up for grabs, and nothing seems to have a fixed definition; what can we learn from Daniel and his friends?
