Like many of the Apostle Paul’s letters, the Book of Ephesians was written while Paul was incarcerated. Yet it is a book full of thanksgiving, gratitude, and praise.
Paul exhorts the believer to be thankful for our spiritual blessings in Christ because of the free gift of Salvation. However, as we approach the last chapter, the tone of the letter changes, and Paul issues a warning to the church to put on the full Armour of God.
What does the armour as a whole represent? What is the significance of the imagery used? How does it help the believer remain watchful?
