This week Pastor David takes a moment to work through a very personal subject to him.
It is fair to say that as a singer-songwriter and musician, music has been that art form which has encircled his whole life. So today, Pastor David uses music and sound as a metaphor to highlight and express God’s perspective regarding the ‘sound’ which emanates from His church.
Following on within the framework of our metaphor, we consider the ‘sound’ that the Lord would endorse. When everything is translated, we are talking about actions and attitudes. Our scripture passage turns the spotlight on a nameless woman whose love and devotion to Jesus epitomise the acceptable standard or ‘sound’ which pleases the Lord.
