Sunday 23rd March – Faith is Easy When it Cost You Nothing – Pastor David Daniel

Faith is easy when it requires no sacrifice. But what happens when belief comes at a cost?

In this sermon, Pastor David highlights the greatness of God, who humbled Himself by taking on flesh, becoming like us, and dying on the cross for us.

This is an incredible truth: God became man. But do we truly believe it? And if we do, at what cost?

Pastor David’s previous sermon entitled ‘The Fourth Temptation’ was based on John 6, featuring the miraculous ‘sign’ of the feeding of the 5000. ‘Signs’ which Jesus performed were supposed to reveal who He was and His mission. The crowd stood face to face with the incarnate Christ, saw His miracles, and heard His words but still struggled with belief. By the end of the chapter, many walked away because the truth was too difficult to accept.

We face the same challenge today. It’s easy to believe in church when there’s no opposition. But what about when our faith is tested? What about when obedience demands sacrifice? Will we still believe, or will we walk away?
