The call to the church then is to return with great expectation, exuberance and faith. Let us come back then with a determined attitude to do our part in making our Christian fellowship great.
The scriptures provide a magnificent and dynamic template for church fellowship as found in Acts 2:42-47 and Acts 4:31 (see the previous service ‘Great Fellowship’). History has played a significant role in constructing our church fellowships today. Still, by far, the most notable example for us and to which we should pursue has to be the original example.
In today’s service, we consider just three points that, if left unchecked, will result in the destabilising of our pursuit for this ‘Great Christian Fellowship’ which all of us should enjoy.
