What we truly believe is revealed at the boiling point—when pressure is high and our faith is tested.
In Luke 22:31–34, Jesus warns Peter, “Satan has asked to sift you as wheat.”
In ancient times, sifting wheat involved a violent shaking to separate what was real from what was worthless. Peter, bold and outspoken, found himself shaken and brought face to face with failure.
But Jesus, the omniscient One, knew that Satan’s attempt to derail Peter would actually serve to refine him, build His church, and bring glory to His name.
How can we stay rooted and unmovable in moments of sifting?
Join us at 10:30 a.m. for our regular Sunday Service.
