Sunday 17th April – My Lord and my God – Elder Martin Finegan

My Lord and my God!

Join us for our Easter Sunday Service, where Elder Martin Finegan will bring the message. The service starts at 10:30 am.

First-century missionaries proclaimed the most significant event since creation: Jesus Christ was raised from the dead. It has been preached and debated for over two millennia.

The first missionaries, operating in the power of the Holy Spirit, presented the resurrection event and evidence, including the empty tomb, the prophecy found in Hosea 6:2 and eyewitness testimony, like that of Thomas. They fearlessly journeyed across the lands with the salvific hope that all hearers would receive the gift of God in Christ Jesus, repent from sin, be baptised and live a life that honours the name of God.

In this prevailing liberal and pluralistic society, where it would seem that anything goes! God is still declaring that there is but one way for every man, woman and child. We are created in the image and likeness of God to be reconciled to God and inherit eternal life. Christ Alone!
