The Lord led the Israelites on a journey through the way of the desert. This route to Canaan was purposeful, and God knew it was the only way to prepare his people to possess the land he had promised. The Journey should have taken eleven days, but it took forty years.
This walk through the wilderness brought about many challenges, but it was a necessary process. Preparation requires a process, but we must trust the process God chooses.
The wilderness experience is not a path one would willingly choose, but it provides an opportunity for growth if we allow it.
