Sunday 10th September – Get Safe Now! – Pastor David Daniel

In our fast-paced lives, it’s easy to become consumed by the daily hustle and bustle, often losing sight of what truly matters. In this sermon, we explore an important message from Luke 17:20-35, where Jesus teaches about the importance of prioritising our spiritual well-being above all else.

Drawing parallels from everyday situations, such as the airline safety protocol of leaving our bags behind during emergencies, we are reminded that in life, there are moments when we must let go of worldly distractions to ensure our spiritual safety. In the same way, Jesus emphasises the need for us to put our relationship with God first above material possessions, worldly ambitions, and distractions.

Luke 17:33 says, “Whoever seeks to preserve his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will keep it.”

We must re-evaluate our first concerns and focus on the values and principles that align us with God’s kingdom.

Join us as we delve into Luke 17:20-35 and discover the transformative power of prioritising our spiritual well-being, echoing the message: “Get Safe Now!”

The service will be broadcast ‪‪at 10:30 am.
