Sunday 5th June – Tapping into God’s Bigger Plan – Pastor David Daniel

Today is Pentecost Sunday. It is the birthday of the church. The church’s magnificence at the end of the age may be beyond our imagination right now, for the church will radiate with the glory of the Christ as a perfectly beautiful bride without any form of blemish whatsoever.

But right now, we are not there yet; we are still on the journey going through the process of change.

Assimilation is one of the church’s most significant handicaps. That is becoming like the world without even being aware of it. One area where it is easy to embrace a worldly mindset is in our attitude towards prayer. Prayer is not a golden ticket to getting stuff from God so that our lives on earth can be comfortably enriched.

It is meant to be our privilege and opportunity to tap into the Lord’s will, focus on His agenda, and pursue His mission as good soldiers. Today, we are encouraged to adopt a different attitude that focuses on God’s bigger plan.

Join us on Sunday a 10:30am for our regular Sunday service.
