This sermon explores the powerful story of the Father’s blessing, as seen in the story of Esau and Jacob. Esau’s anguished plea for a blessing reveals the deep value of a father’s affirmation, guidance, and prophecy over his children’s future.
In this sermon, Pastor David emphasises the father’s role in imparting love, affirmation, and vision for their children’s lives. It also challenges modern fathers—biological, adoptive, and spiritual—to step into their God-given responsibility to bless and nurture their children.
The sermon then purposefully steers the listener to the ultimate blessing given through Jesus Christ, fulfilling God’s promise to Abraham, ensuring salvation and spiritual freedom for ALL WHO BELIEVE. We can rejoice in the first-class blessing of salvation that God has prepared for those who have been called by His name.
