Maybe as believers, we are too centred on thoughts about our own selves. Our emotions play a big part. If we feel happy about something, we are drawn to it and want more. If we are saddened, our minds are usually consumed with the matter in question for considerably longer.
All in all, we are generally greatly concerned about things which relate to ourselves as dictated to us by our feelings.
Today, our pastor looks at Mark 11, highlighting the matter of Jesus’ disappointment stemming from His journey as King into Jerusalem. We look at Jesus’ firm and decisive response as a result of what He had experienced and consider how we can be better prepared for Christ’s most certain return.
