Sunday 3rd March – Abide in him… – Elder Martin Finegan

It is Thursday night, and Jesus is but one day away from the cross and all its shame.

Proverbs 4:23 reads, “guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.”
Even though I walkthrough the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me;your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
“Life is hard” – We hear and experience this phrase with increasing regularity these days. Today’s lesson in the book of Habakkuk will give us rich insight into how we view tough times.
JANUARY 2024 HAS PASSED! COMPLETED MONTH OF PRAYER AND FASTING. WHERE DO I GO FROM HERE? WHAT WOULD GOD HAVE ME DO?
After a brief recap of his most recent sermons, inspired by PCF’s 2024 Spiritual objective, “Be watchful…stay alert” (Matthew 24:42), Pastor David brings a concluding thought this week.
This week, Pastor David employs the metaphor of a boxing match to encourage the congregation to view each week’s sermon, so far, as a round in a critical bout.
In this sermon, Pastor David takes the listener on a journey, looking into the prophetic words of Jesus in Matthew 24 and exploring the unexpected but purposeful destruction of the magnificent temple in Jerusalem.
We invite you to join us as we lay the foundation for 2024 with 21 days of prayer and fasting.
The next edition of the Freedom in Christ, a 10-week course, starts on the 27th January 24. The course cost £24.00 If you are interested or want to register, please email fic@tpcf.org.uk
