Do you battle with a Phobia? Is there something that you find so overwhelming, that it renders you helpless? Sometimes as believers, our lack of faith is the result of underlying fears, that manifests itself in self-doubt and inactivity.
Israel was serving the one true God but could only see a bad outcome if they were to step out and confronted the challenge set before them. It was a young David, brimming with confidence in the power of God, who stepped up and saved the day.
The conclusion must be, to focus on the God who is able to do the impossible, and who can bring us through whatever crisis we face.
