Sunday 20th March – The Beautiful People – Pastor David Daniel

Today’s sermon focuses on a single sentence found in verse 11 of today’s scripture reading. It simply says that God has made everything beautiful in its time.

God is creator par excellence, and it is His – not our changeable – perspective of beauty that matters. We acknowledge that sin had distorted that beauty for a while, but Jesus has done everything necessary to restore us to God’s original design.

The believer is now on that journey towards completion, we are still being saved, and heaven is in our view. But we are encouraged today to make every effort to adorn ourselves with the noticeable features of Christlike beauty because heaven is a beautiful place that will be filled with God’s beautiful people.
