Jesus’ “Sermon on the Mount” is a foundational teaching for every true Christian.
Today we focus on one word from our main text, and that word is the word ’Blessed.’. Jesus placed this word at the beginning of nine separate statements between verses 1-12 in Matthew chapter 5.
The sermon on the mount was the greatest sermon ever preached and recorded. It must have been amazing to be there, hearing every word from the master’s mouth.
Today’s message looks at a section of The Sermon of the Mount, where Jesus brings God’s Kingdom invitation to the gathering crowd and unpacks God’s law and His standards.
Revelation 3:20 tells us that Jesus knocks at the door and if the person answers he will come in and eat with that person and that person will eat with him.
