We are all fellow servants to God and each other with the ultimate aim of building the kingdom of God, waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.
True faith does not come from constantly receiving what we ask from God. Instead, it grows from trusting God’s character. The story of Jehoshaphat highlights the extraordinary victory that results from seeking the Lord in our times of trouble.
This Sunday, two of our Sunday School classes, the primary school ages 6-10 and secondary school ages 11-16-year students, will participate in the service. It will finish with Deacon Helena providing a message based on Matthew 8:1-4.
Why does God so often seem silent? The problem isn’t that He’s not speaking – it’s that we’re not positioned to listen.
