Sunday 21st June – Building the HOLY City – Elder Keith Treasure

In the Gospel of Matthew, we are given the great commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel. We are to build a people ready for the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ.

In the Gospel of Matthew, we are given the great commission to go into all the world and preach the gospel. We are to build a people ready for the coming of our LORD Jesus Christ.

Our God is holy (transcendently separate), we cannot know him or his ways fully and completely we must have faith in him if we are to serve him, grow in him and know him.

We are encouraged by Jesus to be the salt of the Earth and to let our light shine. Jesus also said he come to FULLFIL the Levitical law.

Our theme this year is Holiness unto the Lord. Jesus in this sermon has spelt out the required spiritual attitude and social behaviour required from a follower of his.

Join us for our regular Sunday service, starting at 10:30 am.

Our Convention focused on Jesus helping the faith of the father of a boy, possessed by an evil spirit. That faith comes from knowing who Jesus is and through prayer.

We are all fellow servants to God and each other with the ultimate aim of building the kingdom of God, waiting for the return of our Lord Jesus Christ.

The final chapter in Jesus’ earthly work, his coming to earth and his ultimate glorification, has its prelude in these passages. Let’s take a closer look at them to find our reason for celebration today.

We are the body of Christ. The Spirit of God is essential to the life of the body, as essential as blood is to our natural bodies. No blood, no life, no spirit no life. Let’s meditate on the notion

Our service starts at 10:30 a.m.
