As people enter the faith, questions often arise about which sins we can or should not commit. However, these conversations frequently begin with an attempt to grade or categorise sin, rather than first considering the character of the God in whom we believe.
When reflecting on sin, we must begin by recognising that “our God is a consuming fire.” This truth calls us to approach the subject not merely as a list of permitted or forbidden actions, but in light of the holiness and majesty of God Himself.
